Earnings calendar
Forty-four companies are scheduled to report between Monday 21 and Friday 25 September 2026, as pulled by 12:04 AM ET on Monday 21 September 2026; dates and times can shift as companies confirm their reporting windows. Each day below is capped at the 12 largest names by open interest, descending. Wednesday reached that cap with 14 reporters, so its table shows 12 and the two smallest by open interest, NovaBridge Biosciences and H.B. Fuller, are not listed; no other day reached it. Expected move is the dollar move the options market prices for each report, as returned by the source; it is not a forecast and does not indicate direction. S&P 500 membership is marked only where the source flags it.

Two central banks outside the US have meetings dated inside this window, neither with a time of day in the source: the People’s Bank of China on Monday 21 September (policy rate 3.00%, set 8 September 2026) and the Swiss National Bank on Thursday 24 September (policy rate 0.00%, set 26 June 2026). There is no FOMC meeting this week; the source dates the Federal Reserve’s next meeting 28 October 2026.
What the calendar means for the tape
The heaviest combined load falls on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday pairs the week’s largest earnings slate, 14 of the 44 scheduled reports, with both flash PMI releases at 9:45 AM ET, and three of its S&P 500-flagged reporters, General Mills, Paychex and Cintas, report before the open. Thursday pairs 10 reports, including Darden Restaurants before the open and Costco Wholesale after the close, with four scheduled macro items and the Swiss National Bank meeting, which makes it the week’s densest window for scheduled events. Monday’s eight reports arrive with no scheduled US macro release, and Friday’s four reports share the morning with durable goods orders at 8:30 AM ET and the final University of Michigan consumer survey at 10:00 AM ET.
The options tape heading into the week was call-led: the source’s latest session, Friday 18 September 2026, recorded 44,767,579 calls traded against 32,607,233 puts, a put/call volume ratio of 0.73, with call premium of $33.20B against put premium of $16.34B. This whole week falls in September. Across the 19 Septembers on record, SPY averaged a monthly change of −0.87% with a median of +0.13%, closing positive in 10 of 19 years (52.6%), while QQQ averaged −0.50% with a median of +0.42%, closing positive in 11 of 19 years (57.9%).

Method note
Earnings-calendar, economic-calendar, central-bank-rate, market-state and seasonality data sourced from the licensed vendor credited beneath each table; MPI score and regime classifier are our internal composite, last published in the SomerQuant Daily. All five datasets were retrieved by 12:04 AM ET on Monday 21 September 2026 (04:04 UTC); this edition was built and published after its scheduled Sunday evening time, and every figure in it reflects that retrieval. Each day’s earnings table is capped at the 12 largest names by open interest, descending; only Wednesday reached the cap (Monday 8, Tuesday 8, Wednesday 14 with 12 shown, Thursday 10, Friday 4, of 44 total). The source returns at most 50 earnings rows per request, so each weekday was requested separately and no day approached that limit. Report time reflects the source’s report_time field, shown as n/a where it is returned as unknown (24 of the 44 rows); the separate market_time field was not used for timing because it read postmarket on 42 of the 44 rows regardless of report_time, consistent with a snapshot of trading-session status rather than each company’s disclosed reporting time. Historical one-day earnings-reaction data was returned by the source but is not shown, pending confirmation of its chronological order. A Forecast column is shown because the source returned a forecast figure for 6 of the week’s 9 macro items; the source returned each macro item twice and each is listed once. Central-bank meeting dates and current policy rates carry no time of day in the source. Market-state figures are from Friday 18 September 2026, the date the source returned as its latest session. Seasonality figures cover September across the 19 years on record for both SPY and QQQ. The MPI and regime figures are carried from the SomerQuant Daily of 18 September 2026, which labels both as of the 17 September 2026 close; that edition uses a newer page layout, so the figures were read from its labelled MPI and regime row. This edition carries no chart. It was drafted with AI assistance under human-set rules and has not been individually reviewed by a licensed professional.
